Michael Alford, Deacon Chairman
Michael was born and raised in N. Ft. Myers, FL and is a graduate of Florida A&M University. He is married to Theresa and has two sons, William and Warren. He has lived in the Central Florida area sine 1999 and has been a member of First Baptist Church of Maitland since 2001. Michael has served in many capacities at the church and currently serves as deacon chairman. Michael strives to guide the deacon body as they love, support and care for church families.

Regina Matzen, Church Secretary
Regina was born in Philadelphia, Pa. and moved to Edgewater, Florida.
Regina was called to FBC Maitland in the fall of 2003.
She has served in the choir, Vacation Bible School, women’s ministries of the church, Baptist Young Women missions group, Girls in Action mission group,adult handbell group, children’s choir, helped with weddings and decorating church and taught a senior-adult ladies Sunday school class.
In addition to church secretary, Regina is married to Pastor Mike and has two sons, Mike and Matt.
Suzanne Burks, Choir Director
I was baptized here when I was 12 year old. During my younger years, I took piano lessons, joined the band, and played the Saxophone. These events planted the seed of “Music” in my heart.
God has put me here at FBCM as the Music Director. Maybe He was preparing me for this position all along. I think so!!
God has blessed me with a wonderful family. Randy, my husband of 30 years, and two beautiful girls, Mallory and Miranda. Also the joy of my life, my two grandbabies, Zoie and Nick.
Theresa Alford, Nursery
Theresa was born in Cherrypoint, NC and rasied in the Central Florida area. She is married to Michael and has two sons, William and Warren. Theresa has been a member of First Baptist Church of Maitland since 2001. She felt led by God to serve as the nursery worker and looks forward to providing a safe and fun environment for children so parents can worship, praise, fellowship and study God's word.
